Feathers Environmental Services aims to provide professional, experienced and independent avifaunal services and advice to the energy, industrial and private sectors, ensuring the conservation of avifaunal biodiversity through sustainable development practices. We work in co-operation with a number of independent consultants and network of key environmental organisations and avifaunal experts, which enables us to draw on the wealth of experience and knowledge that is available to ensure that we provide an objective and cost-effective service to our clients.
Focusing on the field of specialist environmental consultation, our services are applicable to a variety of industries that require the assessment and mitigation of avifaunal interactions with various forms of infrastructure, at all stages of the project life-cycle. Assessments are carried out according to known scientifically acceptable standards and methodologies, as well as innovative and applicable procedures individually designed for each site and species.
Our office is based in Johannesburg, South Africa and we operate mainly in the Gauteng, Limpopo, North West, Northern Cape, Mpumalanga and KwaZulu Natal provinces, although projects can be undertaken across the country, Africa and abroad.
